Nobody's Prize

Why all of this blame on me?

Why is it my burden and not he?

A girl taken from her home

Maybe not happy, but still a home

That cruel man who had no right

To come to my home and steal me in the night

All this honor and hurt pride evolves

A war, men dead, come only to resolve

O, woe is my fate in this foreign place

What grief is thrown upon the image of my face

Would that Eris had not been scorned

I could be home safe and warm
