A Single Breath

A Single Breath 

 

Chaotic rushing through these halls

interminably locked in schedule

run to class, always racing the bell

never given time to stop and breathe;

never stopping to think

what this may mean.

It's all just a part of our mass plan

keep going until we can run no more

then stop, and see what all we've missed

while we were too busy

even to feel.
