I ride the school bus and stare out the window
I can see so many, but they don’t notice me
I’m just staring out at the world
A man on a cell phone, while driving to work,
clearly on his way to Starbucks to get his coffee fix
I see a few trees ahead of the game,
leaves already changing, I admire the beauty
I see flashes of the sun rising,
the bright light an early morning ritual
A girl is greeting her boyfriend before school;
Two friends slap hands and walk off together.
The bus rolls onward
I think of the world and all the things going on,
then I remember what I see, and wonder
Will any of the people I see become famous?
Will I ever see something important?
What will happen today?
Tomorrow?
Next year?
No one knows.
For now, I’ll just enjoy the ride.

isn't it also interesting to you that these people you see and notice have no idea that you're looking at them and that they'll probably never know? I think it is but not in a creepy way. and good, enjoy the bus ride because you'll never know which one will be your last- again not in a creepy way. I'm going to go now before I really freak you out. good poem
