We have spent a few days talking about and listening to sound. From sound effects with a Foley Artist, to found sound (Jeeps, Trees, and Laundry Equipment), to the single sound of a drop of water, we see how powerful sound can be.
We also discussed how sound can be shaped either in a very calculated way (ABABCAB) or a seemingly random way (short story plot line or by chance).
How will your sound be created?

I want to use the Free Sound project to make a techno type song with a fast beat and long digital bass sounds in it. I want to use a large range in pitch to create a cool effect.

I was thinking of using garage band to make an acoustic type of song. I'm not really sure what I want it to sound like I'm just going to try different things until I find something that I like.

I was thinking of using sounds like a zipper on a hoodie or squeaking sneakers to make an up-tempo beat

My idea is to use a mix of found sound and garage band loops to create an Irish/Celtic song.

I want to do something with a few sounds from baseball. Such as hitting a ball, ball into glove, running with cleets, and other sounds i find on the way. I will probably mix and match them change tones speed and repeat them.
