Terry, the painting instructor, encourages the students, "..you don't have to travel to the Himalayas or Tibet, use the whole world of the classroom and surroundings to find a beautiful choice of subject matter. click for art Joe (the sculpture student) told us that he was surrounded by people like himself- PGSA students able to inspire and energize each other with creativity. Joe has always worked on a small scale. When he started his sculpture, another student suggested creating a larger scale sculpture. This is part of a three-piece sculpture consisting of a hand, head, and a leg. return to page 1
