Overview: The class will explore the relationship of Edgar Kaufmann and Frank Lloyd Wright. The emphasis of this study is organic architecture, which Wright used to full advantage in the creation of the Kaufmann house. Visual analysis and research activities are designed to give the learner insight about the structure and relationship of the client to the architect. |

Warm-Up: The student will learn about: the commissions Wright recieved from Kaufmann, the realtionship of architect to client, the commision for Fallingwater, the methods, techniques, and principles employed in the design of Fallingwater, and the elemnts and principles of art, as related to architecture. |
