Students of the NASH Multimedia class shoot video sequences for CONNECT(DIS)CONNECT, dealing with human connection in the information age. Students used improvisation technique to create movement that reflected connectedness or disconnectedness in contemporary society. Technically we lit the shoot so actors were lit against the black void of the darkened auditorium to enable luminance keying in video editing.

Students took the raw video clips and each edited the live footage of simple gestures with other visual material to form complex, multi-layered video elements for the interactive performance.
