AP Music-Keyboard Skill Test #3 – Chord Progressions

Due Date: Last day of the 3^rd nine weeks

Level 1 – Piano is not your major or minor instrument

With a steady beat, perform the chord progression with the right hand, left hand, or hands together in all twelve major and minor keys.  Perform the progressions in the circle of fifths or chromatically.  In addition, you should be prepared to play any key in random order.

Major Chord Progression

Minor Chord Progression

Level 2 – Piano is your major or minor instrument

With a steady beat, perform the chord progression hands together in all twelve major keys.  Perform the progressions in the circle of fifths or chromatically.  In addition, you should be prepared to play any key in random order.
